The optimal training with your ROOQs

Here you will learn step by step how to perform an optimal workout with the ROOQs.

  1. Fully charge sensors and charging case before training.
  2. Pair sensors with app.
  3. Sensors must flash green, then they are ready for use. They start recording data as soon as they are removed from the case.
  4. The sensors go into the straps and need to be attached to the inside of the wrist and pushed with the front towards the palm. Which of the sensors you put on the left or right side doesn’t matter. Your ROOQs will automatically detect if they are on your left or right arm.
  5. Free training or training according to a training plan is possible.
  6. Your data is synchronized after the training, for this the sensors are put back into the charging case and you go to “Load training data” in the app (do not close the app during data synchronization).
  7. For an exercise lap to be recognized, this lap must be performed for at least approx. 30 seconds. I.e. if you test the ROOQs while hitting for less than 30 seconds, the sensors will generally not recognize that lap and thus will not output any stroke/boxing specific activity in the app.
  8. Lending ROOQs: The sensors are tied to an account. This means that you pair them to your ROOQ app profile and can always use them for that app account. If you want to lend the sensors, you have to unlink yourself from your account. Only after this step, another athlete can re-pair them to their own account. We recommend that you do not share your ROOQs. This is because if several athletes train with the same profile, the data will be falsified, as the individual weight of the athlete is taken into account here, among other things.
